For years, I struggled to find a good weekender bag that’s perfect for everything from an overnight to a full weekend away. That is, until I got the Neely and Chloe Weekender bag! I received this bag a few months ago, and I have been loving it! In fact, I love it so much, that I decided it deserved it’s own post. This summer, we headed down to the shore, took a weekend in Pennsylvania, and I even got to fly visit friends in the south (thanks to vaccines!). This bag was ideal for every scenario, including acting as my plane carry-on. Everything from the design, to the quality, to the style are perfect, so I thought I would share a little bit about why I love this weekender and why I think it’s worth it. I don’t think you can get more classic than this weekender. I have to say, after having used it on several trips, it’s just as practical as it is chic. Neely and Chloe truly nailed it with this one! The pebbled leather mixed with simple canvas is a timeless combo, and the materials will age well, too. The gold hardware elevates things and adds a special touch, I especially love how it compliments the navy. The shape is not only cute, but it’s seamless for being on-the-go (nothing worse than a cute bag that has a silhouette that’s challenging to carry or store). It easily slides into trunks, overhead bins, and fits perfectly on luggage racks.
The interior actually fits a ton, so you still look sophisticated without looking bulky. I can usually fit two pairs of shoes at the bottom, clothing for a few days, my cosmetic cases, a book, needlepoint, and then some. The handles are very comfortable, and the large strap is adjustable. I’ve found myself carrying it by the handles, on my shoulder, and across my body, too. The interior has a zip pouch where I keep small things I don’t want loose. The inside is simple without other additional pockets, which actually makes things a lot easier for a weekender, because they don’t take up space.
I can see myself carrying this weekender from Neely and Chloe with everything from elevated athleisure to a chic topcoat and boots for travel. I appreciate how it comes in a few classic colors that will go well with anyone’s style. The quality is truly phenomenal, and I don’t say that lightly. I know luggage is an investment, and I think this piece will be something you (and I) will have forever. I really do think a great piece of luggage is a wardrobe staple, and I can’t wait to use this for years to come.
