You’ve seen me in this gingham dress over the last month or two and I am still obsessed with it. Tuckernuck really nailed it with this one, it is something that is easy breezy but with a little fun flair. I love the puff-sleeve silhouette and the summery, pale green gingham- swoon! It has been really hot here in NJ, but some days it’s cooler, and the lightweight fabric and breathability yet length and sleeves make it incredibly versatile. Most of all, I love how feminine this dress is. The chest is ruched so it has a little extra give in an area that can fluctuate for me, the midi length is absolutely perfect, and most of all, it is easy.
This dress is also super practical, it doesn’t wrinkle easily, so you can wear it over and over before needing to take out a steamer, which I only needed to do after I packed it in a suitcase! I’ve worn it in town with my Tretorns, or styled with Jack Rogers (25% off today!) for a laid back summer look. I even wore it barefoot on a dock one night, and it felt so light and airy. The dress goes up to an xxl, which fits like a proper 1x, There is also a considerable amount of room from the empire waist down, I have even seen some ladies rock it with a bump!
