SUNDAY CATCH UP

This week was so long, yet so short! I felt super burnt out by the end of it, so I took a mini hiatus from Instagram for just a couple days. Boy, did it help. I think most of my holiday blog deadlines were in the past week, so now I feel like the biggest hurdles are behind me, and it’s holly jolly from here on out. Carly and I shot something really exciting outside (and distantly) for one of our mutual favorite brands, and I can’t wait to share it. 

Andrew and I decided that this Thanksgiving, the most important thing is safety, so we will be at home just us two. My parents are older, and Andrew’s live a bit further away, so what made sense for everyone was to make things virtual! I’ll get a turkey breast, make lasagna, stuffing and some cranberry brie. Is the lasagna weird? Lol. My mom makes the best lasagna with cinnamon in it and I’ve been thinking about taking a stab at it. I think growing up in New Jersey, even though I am not Italian, we had so much good Italian food around, that it’s without a doubt my favorite cuisine to both eat and consume! So, I’m going to make some because why not, right?! Lol.

LOFT HOLIDAY COLLECTION: Have you shopped LOFT lately? Their cozies are number one in my book. They launched plus a few years ago, and the proportions are separate from the straight sizes, so everything always fits like a dream. I wrote a curvy guide on how to shop LOFT for classic pieces, and I love everything they have right now. 

TARGET PLUS-SIZE HOLIDAY PAJAMAS: Holiday pajamas are harder to find in extended sizes! You can find your traditional flannels, but fun cotton sets are far and few between. Target has adorable size-inclusive pajamas, some even for the entire family. Love them! 

J.CREW FACTORY 50-70% OFF HOLIDAY SALE: Factory has been having a crazy sale of 50-70% off EVERYTHING! So, if you wanted to grab a few tartan pieces, now would be a good time to do so. Never pressure to shop sales, this one is just TOO GOOD not to share! 

WIDE AND REGULAR WIDTH DUCK BOOTS ON SALE: Sperry is having a pre-black friday sale, and my favorite boots are on sale! I like the Sperry Duck Boots vs. competitors, because the width is just such a game changer. I have the style with the sherpa and always feel so cozy.

HOMEGOODS IS GOING TO BE SHOPPABLE ONLINE: My friend Maria of CablesandCrewnecks shared that Home Goods is going to be shoppable online soon! I am so excited for this. I feel like we all needed this!

HOW DO I MAKE THANKSGIVING GROCERY SHOPPING SAFER?: One thing we can all agree on, is we want to be as safe as we can this holiday season! Grocery shopping is essential, and I found this to be an informative and helpful read on the subject.

13 BEST ADVENT CALENDARS TO GIFT THIS YEAR: Guys, this is so cool! I had no idea so many fun and unique advent calendars were out there. This is a great curation of advent calendars ranging from ones for the ultimate FRIENDS fan to Tea lovers. So good!
