CLOSET STAPLE: My Favorite Top from Sail to Sable -

I am so excited for today’s post, because I am chatting all about my favorite fall blouse from one of my go-to brands, Sail to Sable. You know I take my classic style finds seriously, and Sail to Sable is the epitome of classic. From their fabrics, to their color palettes, to their chosen silhouettes, everything is timeless with a touch of whimsy. I love how each piece has a bit preppy panache, too. Their Fall collection is so swoon worthy and has everything I look for: quality construction, pretty colors and prints, and effortless designs. Plus, they launched a super cute casual shop, which I have my eye on in a big way, perfect for working from home or those easygoing days.

Sail to Sable’s collection goes up to an xxl, but they recently expanded to a 3x in some pieces with their Style Charade collaboration, which was so exciting to see. I wear the xxl very comfortably, and I am a true 1x or 16w. You can just tell the fits are designed with various women in mind, because everything I’ve tried just works on my curvy figure. I have to say, of all my coveted STS pieces, I am particularly smitten with my Faux Suede Flutter Sleeve Top. Something about a neutral suede is such a classic fall style note, and I love it.

This top is so good. It manages to be comfortable, classic and chic all in one. The flutter sleeve is an effortless way to elevate a neutral blouse. What I love the most, is the simple shape is ideal for my figure, and the sleeves are a fun yet sophisticated moment for my everyday style. The attention to detail and quality are both fantastic and worth the price point. I styled it with a houndstooth headband and leopard flats, which can easily be swapped for any pattern/color combo. It would also look perfect tucked in with black high waisted pants, a skirt, or with white denim and neutral point toe flats.This has quickly become my favorite fall “everything” blouse. It goes with everything in my closet, and I can wear it casually in our new normal, or elevated for some festive fun.
