My Dress (c/o) and Carly’s Top

Hey guys, Elsa here! Carly and I did a really fun shoot wearing festive Draper James looks (Ham and Teddy made an appearance, too)! We coordinated our tartan ensembles and even wore matching classic cap toe shoes. It was rainy that day, but we had so much fun playing with the pups by Carly’s cranberry-adorned Christmas tree, shooting with Carter, and going out for lunch afterwards. Despite the fact it was dreary outside, we had the best time! Carly and I actually met this summer via Instagram and became fast friends. Sometimes in life, you meet people and you’re like “umm, where have you been all this time?!”

She’s that person for me, our friendship is really natural and genuine. Which, as an adult with slight social anxiety, is everything you can ask for. Most of my friends live in NYC or have now scattered around the country, so I do not take for granted how close Carly and I live to each other. We can easily meet for a cup of coffee or lunch, and are always guaranteed to laugh the whole way through and just lose track of time. Needless to say, I feel really lucky to have a true friend in Carly and I cannot wait for all our adventures ahead!

About our Draper James looks- I love that we have two different shapes yet both pull off this tartan so effortlessly (if I do say so myself lol). Their extended sizes are out of this world, the fits are flawless and they offer everything from jammies to dresses. I have become obsessed. This dress in particular has such a flattering cut and easy shape, so I’ll be wearing it Christmas day! I also love Carly’s top, the bow detail is just too darling.
