A Perfect Summer Dress you need

I can’t believe summer is just a month away, I feel like I woke up one day and it was sunny skies and green trees. I’m grateful to be quarantined at my in-laws’, where I can work on the covered porch and spend time outside! Between working from home and the summer sun coming, my wardrobe checklist is easy, cute, and comfortable. I have been living in my Lilly Pulitzer Sophie UPF 50+ dress and it checks each and every one of those boxes! It works for both current life at home and when things return to (a new) normal. I can see myself out and about in this a ton!

Why is it so good for home? This Solsafe fabric is DREAMY. It has a cotton like feel with stretch, so it’s comfortable for sitting at a desk or keeping things casual around the house. This dress has sun protection, and I go outside periodically throughout the day to get fresh air, so that UPF and breathability make things really easy. Also, the dry-cleaning struggle is real, and appreciate that I can throw it in the wash and set out to dry. It will also be perfect for summer date nights and barbeques by the pool. I’m obsessed with this Lilly toile print, it’s so fun and the blue hues are perfect for summer! The dress also comes in a handful of other prints and you can get it MONOGRAMMED! Check, check, check! 

I find the fit to be fantastic, it feels similar to the Lilly Ophelia dress, with a straighter shift silhouette and tapered arms. The shape is classic, works on most body types, and is a great Lilly option for curves. I am wearing the XXL and find that it runs true to size (comes in sizes xxs-xxl).
