4 Ways to Wear a White Tee with Curves

Being a curvy woman, good, reliable and quality basics are pretty hard to find (they are hard to find for any size woman, but curvy gals have less options frankly). I think it is super important to have a good foundation to your closet, and a white tee is one of the simplest yet most versatile basics anyone can have! My favorite white tee is this ¾ sleeve cotton tee, comes in regular, petite, plus and plus petite, and the sleeves are a really manageable length where they are longer, making it feel more polished, but don’t get annoying, stretched or need to be rolled!

For each look I wore my Sarah Flint Natalie flats (c/o), which I sized up in for extra width and they were perfect.. and because they literally go with everything! Each look is super simple with items I thought you might already have, or items that are basics you may need. The possibilities are really endless, but here we go! 

SIMPLE WITH HIGH WAISTED JEANS OR PANTS

The number one way I love to wear my tee, is with classic denim or simple high-waisted pants! The jeans I’m wearing are by far my favorite blue denim, and they are size inclusive, too. When you tuck the tee in, it accentuates your waist, but it also looks elevated and intentional! I style it plain and tucked in with all kinds of denim, culottes and work pants with a blazer, too.

DRESSY CASUAL WITH AN EASY SKIRT

A fun, whimsical and dressier way to wear your white tee is with a skirt! I added my Dudley Stephens Boatneck as an additional layer than can be draped over the shoulder for a chic touch and thrown on when you get chilly. I feel like a skirt and tee is the perfect balance between dressy and casual. I also pair my tee with midi and maxi skirts, or with a structured skirt and blazer for work.

AS A FOUNDATIONAL LAYER WITH WHITE DENIM

I love to pair a white tee with white denim for a monochromatic look with a pop of color with my favorite cardigan (you can check out my post on white denim 2 ways). The all white foundation really makes the cardigan stand out, when in the end it’s a comfy all cotton look! Depending on the rise of your denim, you can leave the tee tucked in or untucked, here I did a partial tuck! This look is so clean and easy and perfect for transitioning into September.

PERFECT PAIRING WITH A BLAZER OR SWEATER JACKET

White tee’s are perfect for layering in any scenario, but especially with a blazer or sweater blazer! Here, I added my favorite sweater blazer (size down) for an elevated casual look, but you can pair with any blazer or light jacket, structured or not with a white tee. A smooth white tee wears very well under a top layer, and presents a polished but comfy look. I usually wear with clean jeans and flats.
