HOW TO STYLE TWO HOLIDAY PARTY LOOKS

If you’ve been following along with my Instagram stories, you know that Nora and I celebrated Talbots’ Holiday Collection last week at their flagship store in NYC. It was so much fun, we decorated cookies, wrapped gifts, made wreaths, and had an overall holly jolly time. It definitely got me excited for the season. I looked at my calendar for the next two months and I have a lot going on! I have a handful of holiday parties, my office holiday party, and the actual holiday itself!

Getting dressed for these seasonal get togethers can be hard; but, I found that Talbots’ Holiday Collection has many classic and flattering options, so I really do not have to stress. Their holiday collection is absolutely amazing, with tartan, black watch and velvet galore. Best of all, they make a lot of their items in regular, petite, and plus. I love that I can shop with them and be able to pick out the same thing as a friend, regardless of my size or theirs!

So, I styled two Talbots size-inclusive holiday party looks that will make you feel cute and classic with ease. Also, Talbots makes some of the best wide width holiday shoes around! And those, my friends, can be hard to come by.

I was immediately drawn to this pleated black watch skirt. It is a really feminine take on plaid and I find that pleated skirts work on everyone. The embellished sweater is so precious, I am loving a little sparkle lately! Both of these pieces work with my curves, the pleats in the skirt move with me and the stretch in the sweater creates a super flattering silhouette. Also, these wide width flats add a festive pop of color and could not be more comfortable. Last but not least, this. Velvet. Bow. Clutch! Need I say more?!

I. Love. This. Jumpsuit. Guys, its velvet, it has a bow, and it has extra coverage in the shoulder/chest region. This jumpsuit is very figure-friendly, the proportions are spot on from the armholes to the torso length- it just works. I find that jumpsuits are one of the harder things to make work and this one is so easy. I paired it with these wide width pleated kitten heels that are incredibly comfy to walk in and give me a little extra height. I will definitely be wearing this to my office holiday party!
