This just in! Tuckernuck has expanded their sizes. The coveted classic brand now carries up to xxxl within their in-house line. To see progress and expansion is so exciting, and I hope they continue to expand more! I wear the xxl in the Tuckernuck Collection pieces, and I am a true 1x, and the items fit perfectly. They have not yet listed the measurement specs for the xxxl. But, for the xxl, the bust measurement is a 47.5″, which is the LOFT plus measurement for a 16/18w! So, I would guess the xxxl could fit an 18, possibly a 20, comfortably.
I was talking with my friends Ashley and Grace about how exciting this is, not only for the brand, but for all of us classic girls who have curves. I love that Tuckernuck is seeing the demand for larger sizes and making a conscious effort to continue adding more sizes to their collection. You can check out my Curvy Guide to Tuckernuck here. I share my tips on how to shop the site, and what filters to apply to find curve-friendly pieces. I rounded up their items in xxxl below, the perfect palette for transitioning to Fall!
1. Antelope Royal Shirtdress in Blue
This is #1 on my wishlist! I have heard such wonderful things about this silhouette. My friends Ashley and Grace (again) have given this their seal of approval. I trust them both wholeheartedly! The waistline and longer skirt are perfect for curves. This is a timeless piece.
2. Cappuccino Striped Stella Top
Okay, I’m obsessed with this neckline! Square necklines are incredibly flattering on larger chested women. I have their Elise square neck top in black, and it is one of my most worn blouses. The mid-length sleeve and vertical stripes make the perfect recipe for a curve-friendly blouse. Also love that it’s long enough to tuck in.
3. Navy Faux Leather Easton Blouse
My favorite blouse! Admittedly, I have this blouse in 4 colors, it’s that good. It can be challenging to find silhouettes that flatter curves the way this does. The swing silhouette and v-neck are feminine, flattering and fun. This also comes in a pink leather, but I prefer the navy!
4. Antelope Basketweave Easton Blouse
See no.3! I love this blouse for transitioning into September and October. I think this material will move more than the leather version. I will say, I think the linen-like material will be out of season by the end of October, but you can easily wear this half the year in Spring, Summer and Early Fall.
5. Navy Suede Three Quarter Clifton Dress
Navy? Suede? Collar? Fall dream dress! I tried this silhouette on in a shirt form and absolutely loved it. I ended up returning it because the pattern I selected didn’t work on me, but the shape sure did. This is a classic you can wear through November, and if styled the right way, even throughout the winter, too.
6. Antelope Royal Shirtdress
See no. 1! I think this colorway is the perfect neutral palette. It will look fabulous with brown ballet flats, and later in the season with brown suede booties or riding boots. This silhouette is so dreamy and love that it buttons up, so you have the option to show more or less skin!
This makes me so happy 😭
