I love late October and early November weather. The bite in the air paired with the sunshine just makes me so joy filled. Layering is always an optimal choice this time of year, because it’s not yet cold, but no longer warm out. My favorite piece to layer? A vest! I talk a lot about how Lands’ End is one of my go-to’s, but they are also my destination for all down pieces. I have worn their down jackets for years. Actually, I think most of my life! And their vests are no exception. I have a sponsorship with Lands’ End on my Instagram today, but my love for this vest runs very deep, so I wanted to chat about it here, too.
Right now, Lands’ End is having “Octobervest,” with some really good deals on their vests, in all size ranges, with so many patterns and colors to choose from. You can get 50% off down vests now through the 25th with code SNUG. Everything else on site is 30% off, too. Including my favorite cashmere sweater (which I wrote an entire blog post on here). Let’s chat about why I love this particular vest, and cover a few of my favorites in the sale.
I am wearing the plus-size winter puffer vest (regular and plus sizes). It works so well on my figure, and I love that the proportions and fit are spot on, making it effortless to pull off a bold print. Although it’s down and warm, it isn’t super dense, which is great if you love to layer. It has extra length in the back for a bit more coverage, but is not too long. It’s the perfect layering piece because you can wear it now, and wear it when it gets colder out! It also has ethically sourced down and is water resistant.
A few other items included in the 50% off sale that I love, and know you will too, are their half-zip fleeces and some other vest styles. Honorable mentions include their packable ultralight vest, which I have in the jacket version, and their quarter zip fleece pullover top. I have the pullover top and know you will love it, so easy, works on everyone and is so classic. Don’t forget to use the code SNUG!
What a wonderful vest for this delightful transition of seasons. And especially perfect for the holidays. I’d love to wear it casually like you have shown or with a holiday knee length wool skirt for another festive look. Love it! ❤️❤️❤️
