SUNDAY CATCH UP
What a week it has been! It was overwhelming to say the least, and in the end, I have a lot of relief and gratitude. When I dropped my ballot off for Joe and Kamala on Monday, I felt so much hope. I am so overjoyed that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been named our President elect and Vice President elect. With the holidays around the corner, I’ve also been prepping around the house. I had some Christmas campaigns to photograph this week, so my decor went up a little early. I think everyone should decorate whenever it works for them, whether it’s now, in a few weeks, or the day before!
In other holiday news, Simply Elsa’s holiday landing page will be launching later this week. Here is a sneak peek! It’s nothing crazy, but it will be a holly jolly place where all my gift guides and holiday blog posts will live. It will have a square on my homepage and be in my menu, too.
SUNDAY SHOPPING
TALBOTS SIZE-INCLUSIVE CHALET CHIC: If you know me, you know I love Talbots! I have been a Talbots loyalist for years and years, the plus-proportions and styles are great. Their Chalet Chic collection is HOLIDAY HEAVEN, and it’s size-inclusive.
VIOLETA BY MANGO PLUS-SIZE SEQUIN PIECES: Violeta is Mango’s plus-size line, and I always find great one-off pieces here. They have some really cute sequin items in that are so festive for all of the holidays. I think this sequin t-shirt is the perfect quarantine holiday top!
SPANX BROWN FAUX-CROC LEGGINGS: I love the Spanx classic black faux-leather leggings, and this croc pair is a dark brown that feels a little less edgy, but still cool! I recently styled them here.
J.CREW FESTIVE SIZE-INCLUSIVE TARTANS: Need I say more? Lol. Many are 25% off with the code “DRESSYISH” until midnight. I suggest their tops and sweaters. They introduced my favorite ruffle neck top in a tartan so I recently snagged it!
ONE KINGS LANE HOLIDAY SHOP: One Kings Lane Holiday shop is so carefully curated (trust me!) and has so many unique but timeless pieces. I love their gift capsules and tablescape themes this year, so cute.

Hey Elsa! I’ve never commented before– but I’m an avid reader!–but I just wanted to say thank you for sharing who you voted for–so many folks with influence are afraid to share and I am grateful for your choice to do so! In this election especially 🙂
Hi Carly, thank you so very much for these words. I am so glad that you are here!
