It is the season of cozy and I have been chatting quite a bit about this Supersoft Mockneck Sweater. J.Crew’s supersoft yarn is truly the *softest* blend I have found short of being cashmere. If you have sensitive skin, or just enjoy soft sweaters, it’s a great option. I will say, a handful of J.Crew’ supersoft sweater styles work well on curves (the cardigan, mock neck and turtleneck), and some need work in the proportions department (last year’s crewneck). The sweater’s length hits at a great spot. I wear mind right at my hips and you get that cozy sweater feel without it being too bulky. I have mentioned this before, but I have short arms, so I just cuff my sweater and it blends in really nicely. The actual arms themselves aren’t too big at all, which can happen in extended size sweaters, unfortunately. The mock neck style is very comfortable. Again, you get that turtleneck feel, but it is a bit shorter, doesn’t bother me, and elongates my neck! Generally, I would say it runs true to size. I get the XXL and it has a nice, fitted feel.
I also love that the mock neck goes with literally everything. I styled mine here with denim, my favorite plaid scarf and accessories. But I also wear mine with skirts, plaid or dress pants, and leggings. Over the season, you will see a lot of supersoft from me, because it is just that good. My job is to vet the J.Crew styles, or any extended size brand I share, so you don’t have to. This sweater is a great addition to your cold weather closet, it’s the best.

I got this sweater in the dark green and WOW is it soft! I didn’t take it off for two days. Thinking about getting the light blue with red-orange stripe turtleneck version….
