All bedding c/o Serena and Lily
So, a few months ago Andrew and I decided we wanted to really work on our home office space. We decided to put our blue and white ottoman and pillows in our office to make it a bit more lively. When we did that, we realized how much we loved having a neutral space in our bedroom! From that moment forward, I knew I wanted to make our bedroom serene and simple, yet special. When Serena and Lily reached out about a collaboration, I was so overjoyed because the timing was perfect – I had just started my hunt for bedding. Living in Morristown, we are only about a 20 minute drive to nearby Summit where they have a design shop. I made an appointment one day to peruse around and absolutely fell in love with these Miramonte throw pillows, and created our bedding suite around them. PS – two other Miramonte neutral colors are marked down on top of the promo code!
I loved how the Miramonte throw pillows have a great texture to them, and since we weren’t going big on color in this space, I knew texture was going to be important to me. I picked the Miramonte in the natural color, because it felt warm, versatile and I loved how it paired with our headboard, wall color (Revere Pewter) and side tables. From there, I immediately was drawn to the Foxwood quilt and shams in color sand. I am in LOVE with the adorable stripe, embroidery and how the Foxwood pieces have a natural crinkle to them. To me, the texture and natural crinkle bring another element to the neutral feel. My favorite part about the quilt, is how one side is mainly white with a stripe border, and the reverse is all stripe. We also have a white linen duvet cover we will bring out now that it’s chilly, but up until late November the quilt was cozy and absolutely perfect!
Having a king sized bed, I opted for the king sized Foxwood shams in sand to help take up some of the horizontal space along the headboard. I absolutely love these shams just as much as I love the Foxwood quilt! They are so soft and feel already “broken in” if that makes sense, and they’re incredibly comfortable. To add a little more texture and brighten up the bed just a touch, I opted for the Positano Linen Shams. These tie in perfectly to our white linen duvet cover that we will bring out in December. I feel they also completely fit into that natural crinkle and livable texture vibe I was going for. These are so stunning and a little fun and different, too!
I’m absolutely obsessed with how it all came together. I think our bedroom looks completely cohesive, bright and serene, exactly what I wanted to achieve! Serena and Lily is definitely the destination for that classic but cool design-oriented look. I love spending time in our bedroom and it truly feels like an oasis. I love how all the neutral warm and cool tones play off one another. If you’re looking to update anything, this weekend through 11/30 Serena and Lily are offering 25% off everything with code “ITSHERE” – if you’ve been eyeing anything Serena and Lily now is probably the time to jump on it!
What a relaxing, fresh palette. The bedroom looks so inviting. I especially love… everything!!!!
