A New Chapter: Simply Elsa

Welcome to Simply Elsa! Before I dive in, I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well. This is an unprecedented time for us all, and by sharing our exciting, yet bittersweet next steps, maybe a little sunshine comes to your day. 

I am ready, and so excited, for this new chapter and adventure. This new one, however, is not the first of my blogging story. The first chapter is one that I am so dang proud of: Purely Simply with my sister-in-law, Nora. We created a blog and lively community that allowed our individual passions and interests to grow, and more importantly, reach all of you. Together, we decided to transition Purely Simply into two individual blogs, where these passions can take flight. This is a celebration of all we have accomplished together, and I am super proud of Nora, as her sister, partner, and most of all, friend. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for her, and you should check out her blog Purely Nora!  Our matching outfits and inside jokes are here to stay, so you can expect some fun collaborations in the future.

Over the last year, my heart has led me to create content that is true to who I am as a person, share my ongoing body positivity journey, and champion my love of all things classic style. It has all led me to where I am in this very moment, with a stomach full of butterflies, heart so full, and a whole lot of gratitude. What I am most excited for with Simply Elsa, is to expand the curvy conversation in the classic and “preppy” blogger landscape, and to have a space that is simply, me. You can expect to see the same genres of content: style posts, body positivity, lifestyle essays, book reviews, and home adventures, only on a larger scale and with lots of new things to come!

I can’t wait to keep working with brands that I believe in, and to continue to inspire in the area I know best: classic life and style. I also hope to share even more of myself, what makes me me, my hopes and dreams, highs and lows, and what goes on behind the scenes. In the wise words of Annie, “You’re never fully dressed without a smile,” but, I pride myself in never having forced one if it wasn’t there, and never apologizing for when one was beaming ear to ear. That being said, I am a work in progress, and life isn’t always a cute outfit (although they do make life a touch better). By showing more facets of myself, I hope we can really get to know each other, and if we’re not already, become friends along the way! 

To all the Purely Simply followers: thank you for supporting Purely Simply over the last year, it means more to us than words can describe. Without you, none of this would be possible and we would not be where we are today! 

To anyone who might be new around here: welcome and thank you! Nothing brings me greater joy than connecting with others. I hope you find something in this space that speaks to you, and know you always have a friend in me.
