What a crazy weekend it was! I was somewhat MIA on Instagram & TikTok because Andrew and I were busy doing things around town. We cooked a killer dinner on Saturday and did a mini-marathon of Killing Eve (one of the best shows, ever). Sometimes, it feels nice to unplug, but when I do I totally miss sharing little bits of my days with you. However, nothing too exciting really happened! On Sunday I stopped by a local outdoor shopping mall that has some good go-to’s (Sephora, Loft, Talbots etc.), strolled and got some coffee. I popped by LOFT and had great luck with a few cotton and cozy pieces. 

Generally speaking, I find LOFT to run a little on the roomy side. I scoop up a large or an extra-large in most pieces (they go up to xxl). The other great part is it feels like everything is always on sale! I know they took away their extended sizes, which had my heart very heavy. Being able to wear both straight sizes and plus sizes puts me in this grey area that I know a lot of other ladies are in as well (it’s also not lost on me the privilege I have being able to shop some straight sizes). So, I thought I would share a few great finds from LOFT that I feel work really well on my XL size figure!

Fuzzy Shimmer Sweater Tank and Fuzzy Shimmer Cardigan 

(Pictured above, too) Oh my gosh, I’m obsessed with this sweater set. It feels like I’m wearing a big fuzzy sock (you know the ones). I love sweater sets because they work well as separates and together. Would be so chic with a slip skirt, too, but looks just as cute with jeans. I took an XL in both the tank and cardigan, runs true to size. 

Fleece Sweatpants and Fleece Sweatshirt 

Holy cozy. Lou and Grey just knows how to bring comfort to the next level. This loungewear set is so. soft. It’s fleece on the inside and feels like a dream. I think this set is perfect for someone who wants to feel festive with the fair isle print, but likes to remain neutral. I took a large in the sweatshirt and extra large in the pants. Runs true to size, top is a little roomy but is a bit cropped. 

Star Sequin Cardigan 

The perfect understated yet festive touch! I love love love this cardigan. I’ve already worn in twice in the couple of days I’ve had it lol. I wore it with a tissue turtleneck underneath and buttoned it as a sweater on its own as pictured. This runs true to size, I’m in the extra large. 

Buffalo Check Oversized Sweater

This sweater is so fun and so soft. I think it would look adorable with leggings since it’s a bit oversized. It has larger sleeves and is kind of slouchy, the perfect piece to cozy up in. If you’re in-between I would size down, it runs roomy. I’m in the extra large.
