I wanted to share a few of my favorite things as we inch our way into Spring. It’s no secret that over the last two years I’ve really honed in on a predominantly neutral color palette when it comes to my closet and my makeup. I still love pops of color, don’t get me wrong! It’s just what has made life a little easier and I truly love getting dressed everyday as a result. I love that neutrals make it so easy to transition between seasons, so here are a few favorites that come in neutrals I’m loving for now and later:
1. ROTHY’S NEW NEUTRAL COLORS
I have been a Rothy’s stan since they first came out! They’re so insanely comfortable and I think they always look simple yet chic. The point style has been a core shoe in my closet for a while now and I absolutely love their new neutrals collection. I was so excited to partner with them on this collection launch, kind of a pinch me moment! The browns and taupes are so pretty, I think they look chic with off whites for spring and summer and in blacks and browns in the winter and fall. A true year-round colorway! My code is still active, “ELSA20” will get you $20 towards your first Rothy’s purchase of $100 (or more). They’re machine washable and feel like sneakers! *Size up a 1/2 size*
2. MERIT BEAUTY MINIMALIST LIPSTICKS
Something I feel like I don’t talk about as much on here is my love for makeup. I am a beauty/product person through and through, but I really aim for a minimalist look. When I say my makeup collection would maybe shock you, it’s not an understatement haha. A few of my favorite brands are Kosas, Ilia, Saie, Beauty Pie, Tower28, Bobbi Brown/Jones Road, Westman Atelier, and of course, Merit. Merit is a minimalist beauty company, I have everything in their line and there is not a single product I dislike. Last week I was in Sephora and noticed an addition to the Merit display – LIPSTICKS. Guys, the formula on these lipsticks is amazing. They’re lightweight, smooth and have a soft satin finish. The color range is way more extensive than I realized (in Sephora I think they only had three shades). They’re all stunning and subtle, I got the colors Baby (neutral pink), Slip (warm neutral), and L’Avenue (berry brown). They look somewhat similar, but on they each pack a different punch! I love these lipsticks.
3. ABLE EXTENDED SIZES!
I am so so excited about Able extending their sizes. I haven’t done a formal review of the brand yet, but I’ve been incorporating them into my wardrobe over the last year and they’ve quickly become one of my favorite brands (ever). They remind me of J.Crew meets Everlane but in a style all their own. Timeless, light, airy, easy, classic and chic. Their basics are incredible and I had the opportunity to have a call with them a couple of months ago and they just care so much about fit, feel and quality, all things we value over here on Simply Elsa. They have been expanding their size range and the pieces are so good. The collection has a ton of great neutral, transitional pieces that can act as powerhouses in your closet. I ordered some new Able items and can’t wait to do a review for you guys, but trust me everything Able is amazing!
Upon your recommendation I purchased a pair of Rothy’s and I love them! Comfort is my priority and they deliver that plus great style. Thank you!!
I am so glad that you love Able! I just got my first clothing order since they expanded their sizes and I am in LOVE!!
