Blouse (xxl), Denim (size down if in-between), Flats (c/o), Bow
Whether itโs a zoom meeting, date night at home, or just for everyday, getting dressed can provide a great sense of normalcy! I am all about that loungewear life, too. I just create a balance, and on the days I do get dressed, I reach for these easy Fall pieces and accents that pull together any look. What I love most about these pieces or styles, is that they work well together, and on their own. They are simple, neutral and versatile, and are curve friendly silhouettes!
CLASSIC POINT TOE FLATS
A classic point toe flat is a very easy and effective way to dress up a look. A round toe flat reads more casual to me, but a point brings in the same comfort and has the elevation of a dressier shoe. I live in my Margaux flats. I got my first pair about four years ago and they have held up so well, and remain my number one worn shoe. The Pointe (c/o) comes in regular and wide widths, as well as a variety of colors and materials. If you are not a bow person, they have a lovely version without one. You can also get 10% off your first order with code ELSA10.
A FAUX SUEDE OR FAUX LEATHER BLOUSE
Faux suede is one of my favorite Fall timeless trends. It comes back year after year and for good reason. I think faux suede looks good on everyone and the material just feels so cozy. This Tuckernuck blouse is one of my all time favorites (20% off in their friends and family sale with code RINGRING). They are currently sold out of the brown color, but the bone and olive are both equally as lovely. I have both! They just introduced another size! Last year they expanded to include xxl, and now they carry it in xxxl. Eloquii also makes a super chic leather blouse that I have had my eye on for when the temperatures drop.
STATEMENT HAIR ACCESSORIES
Arguably the best thing that has happened in recent years has been the resurgence of headbands and hair accessories! These are not new news, or particularly specific to cooler months, but for some reason I just love hair accessories in Fall colorways and fabrics so much more! This leopard hair bow is one of my favorites, I have it in a solid black, too. They pull together any simple look and make it feel more intentional!
I would never be bold enough to wear a faux suede or leather shirt! It looks so good, classic, and preppy.
Such an easy, breezy outfit and I am here for it!! I adore the Margaux Pointe, and those may have to be my next purchase ๐ hope you had a great start to your week, girl!!
Love it all! Nice autumnal mix of colors and style. Looks cozy yet casually polished.
