Dress (regular 50% off code “merry”), dress (plus 50% off code “merry”), hat, boots (c/o)
For some reason, I have always struggled with sweater dresses! They are so cozy and cute, but I haven’t found one in a while that I love. I’m in a place where I no longer compromise on a garment if I don’t 100% love it. Even if I 90% like it, I usually pass. For every great find, I usually have a few duds! This sweater dress, however, was a WINNER. To me, fair isle is the epitome of winter, and I think the neutral color palette will carry you through the end of February (even March if it’s cold then for you). This dress is also 50% off with code “merry” and is available for curbside pickup!
This dress has a cute cable knit yoke detail and it is definitely really soft, not itchy in my opinion. The silhouette is fantastic, it is a shift but there is still a shape to it. It runs true to size, comes in regular, petite and plus, and the length is nice (I am 5’6). I can see myself wearing this weekly on the days I need a little pick-me-up, but still want to be comfortable and technically I’m still just in a big ole sweater! Aside from pairing it with leggings or slippers at home, I wanted to share two ways you can easily wear it this winter! Remember that no matter what size group you fall into, sweater dresses are for everybody.
SIMPLE WITH FLATS AND A HEADBAND
Dress (regular 50% off code “merry”), dress (plus 50% off code “merry”), flats (c/o), headband
I wanted to offer an easy and sophisticated look that felt polished. So, I paired the sweater dress with a pretty pearl headband and my favorite Sarah Flint flats. This is a great work from home look or have some socially distant plans. While you’re home, if you want to up the cozy, just swap your flats for some slippers!
COLD WEATHER READY WITH A HAT AND BOOTS
Would it really be a winter style session without a cute pom-pom hat? I think this dress with boots has to be one of my favorite looks, ever! It has a touch of prep with the fair isle and pearl stud earrings, but feels cooler with the block heel boots. This is easy, comfortable and chic (IMO). Perfect if you are going out to dinner, have date night at home, or have a cozy festivity.
